RN’s, LVN’s, LPN’s wanted to work Flu Shot Program this Fall

MRSI Medical Resource Specialists, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer accepting applications from individuals interested in joining our clinical team of professionals. We are currently looking for part-time seasonal candidates in the following counties:

Southern CA Counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Ventura

Northern CA Counties: Positions are currently filled. (Alameda, Contra Costa, Fresno, Marin, Merced, Monterey, Placer, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Yolo)

Excellent Hourly Pay + Mileage. Required travel to surrounding areas.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum one year work experience administering injectables
  • Be available to work (Mon – Fri) at least 3 clinics per week. (Clinic hours vary)
  • Active and unencumbered CA Nursing License
  • Current CPR certification
  • Hepatitis B vaccination
  • Reliable transportation with proof of current auto insurance
  • Must have email, daily internet access and a cell phone
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professionalism and organizational skills are essential
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently
  • Accurate and legible patient documentation
  • Bilingual skills / Spanish speaking a plus
  • Collect funds when applicable or verify Medicare Part B information

Physical Environment:

  • Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
  • Assisting with the completion of patient consent forms required

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive, organize and prepare program/clinic supplies
  • Maintain and deliver excellent customer service
  • Set up and proper clean-up of worked clinic sites
  • Review, complete and process all paperwork thoroughly
  • Receive and process payment collection (When applicable)
  • Proper disposal of bio-hazardous waste into a Sharps container
  • Verify and review Consent Forms obtained from all participants receiving a vaccination(s)
  • Administer proper dosage of vaccine
  • Follow clinical protocols and procedures in the event of an emergency
  • Knowledge of MRSI’s Field Management Guide
  • Knowledge of MRSI’s Online Scheduling Guide
